You are at the beginning of your PhD and you have so many questions, such as: How can I plan my PhD and manage my time efficiently? What can I do to build a productive relationship with my supervisor? What helps me to maintain a healthy life-work-balance? How do I get started with writing? And what comes after my PhD?

The PhD Starter Kit offers you the opportunity to acquire key competencies for your PhD in five compact modules.

Everyday life in science presents numerous challenges: from pressure to perform and high work density to tight deadlines and planning uncertainty. Strengthening your resilience and implementing an effective stress management is crucial for your PhD success. In this workshop, you will reflect on internal and external stressors that typically concern doctoral candidates and learn strategies how to deal with them. Mindfulness practices will be introduced that help establish a healthy work-life-balance and overcome phases of your PhD that might be particularly stressful.
