• planning your presentation and working out a “red line”, defining the form of your presentation, defining and addressing target audience

• welcoming the audience/introducing yourself, getting and keeping the audience attention

• different forms of openings and ending to attract attention and make a memorable impression

• structuring presentations, signposting, transitions to guide the audience

• creating and using visuals (theory of perception and esthetics, creating effective slides, deleting redundant information, visual support of your presentation)

• non-verbal communication such as employing your voice effectively.

PLEASE NOTE: To create realistic scenarios, participants contribute their recent scientific research results to hold different mini- as well as a final presentation, which will be analyzed and given feedback to on a weekly basis in form of an individual coaching and interactive work.

Participants are required to have a presentation ready that they have already held at a conference or at their institutes or are prepared for a specific issue to create a presentation out of!
