Location:

Graduate Academy, Mommsenstr. 7, seminar room 4 (basement)

Description:

Knowledge and methodological skills in project management are of fundamental importance in industry and administration as well as in science. Despite the common knowledge of the basics, there is a concrete need for action in the selection and implementation of suitable strategies in many companies, institutions and organisations.

This interactive workshop offers the opportunity to align your knowledge with other actors from your environment and to discuss important steps in more detail, especially at the beginning of a project. The most important planning steps will be made accessible through concrete project examples. The aim is to critically question and further develop your current approach to project planning.

The workshop focuses on the planning elements in classical project management with references to agile methods. Participants will apply their experience and knowledge by working on projects, deepening the following elements of project management:

▪ Contract clarification
▪ Objectives clarification (Benefit, Cost, Time, Performance etc.)
▪ Stakeholder- and Environment analysis
▪ Risks and Chances analysis
▪ Phase plan- und Milestones

The aim of this workshop is to strengthen your attitude towards project management in order to be prepared for the challenges in everyday academic life, but also outside the university.

With your registration you are required to accept the terms and conditions for participation.
