You will need a stable internet connection, a camera and a microphone.

The online workshop will be held via the commercial service Zoom, which you will have to use voluntary and at your own risk. The GA accepts no liability under data protection law or otherwise.

Description:

Academia trained you to do rigorous, complex work but it rarely prepares you for the transition out. This hands-on workshop walks you through three essential steps for making a successful move into non-academic careers: letting go of the academic identity, identifying and reframing your transferable skills, and building a targeted application strategy. You'll work through guided exercises, reflect on your own situation, and develop a personal action plan. You'll become familiar with a structured process that meets you where you are.
