Description:

Taking a healthy approach to stress and adopting effective self-care and relaxation strategies is an important foundation for coping with the challenges of academic life while keeping your goals in sight.

This course offers you the opportunity to learn how to deal with stress effectively, based on the well-established Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) programme. The course includes mindfulness exercises and meditation techniques that are suitable for everyday use, as well as insights from stress research. These are combined with exercises and topics tailored to the needs of early career researchers (e.g. procrastination, self-motivation and self-organisation), as well as opportunities for peer exchange.

Prerequisites: No prior knowledge is required, but you must be willing to practise the respective exercises regularly between course sessions.

With your registration you are required to accept the terms and conditions for participation.
